A car is the best way to get around Fairbanks and explore the area. The property is just 10 minutes from downtown Fairbanks, grocery stores, and restaurants. The airport is about a 15-minute drive. In winter, all main roads are plowed regularly, but 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive is highly recommended. Taxis, Uber, and Lyft operate in Fairbanks, though availability can be limited outside the city center. For adventure seekers, the Chena River boat launch is only minutes away, and scenic drives along the Parks Highway or to Chena Hot Springs are easy day trips.
