The Bear Cove is set in a heavily wooded area and with woods come the chance to see many things in nature from deer to birds and squirrels, bears, moose. If cigarette butts are found inside the property we will charge per hour of an $75 cleaning.      No outside visitors, no overnight guests without prior approval from hosts     Quiet time is from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. Please remain quiet enough so as not to be heard by the neighbors.    Please do not rearrange the furniture!    WIFI: Owners are not liable for illegally downloaded content; any fines will be passed to guests.     NO PETS without pre-approval - Any pet found on the property will result in a $500 charge. Additional fees may apply if additional cleaning is required.  We will consider pets on a case-by-case basis. When outside the dog must remain on a leash at all times per local law and pet owners are responsible for picking up dog droppings.  Please be aware of local wildlife when your dog is outside, moose are common    If an emergency event occurs, please contact us immediately (personal injury, water damage, fire damage, door won't lock)     If, in the unfortunate event, a party is hosted without Property host permission resulting in extra cleaning, guests will be responsible for extra cleaning charges. HOT RULES Do’s • Shower before use to remove lotions, oils, or dirt • Always secure the hot tub cover when not in use • Limit soaking to 15–20 minutes • Children under 16 must be supervised by an adult at all times • Stay hydrated before, during, and after use • Respect preset temperature settings and do not adjust controls Don’ts • No glassware — use non-breakable containers only • Do not use the hot tub under the influence of alcohol or drugs • No pets allowed in the hot tub • Keep electrical devices away from the hot tub area • No jumping, diving, or rough play • Do not enter the hot tub with open wounds or illness Additional Safety Guidelines Outdoor conditions, including snow, ice, moisture, and cold temperatures, may create slippery surfaces. Guests are responsible for exercising caution at all times. Prolonged exposure to water temperatures above 104°F (40°C) can be harmful. Always monitor your time in the hot tub. Avoid blocking the hot tub’s filter area to ensure proper circulation and safe operation. Guests are responsible for determining whether hot tub use is appropriate for their personal health conditions, including pregnancy, injuries, or medical concerns. Due to Alaska winter conditions, guests should wear appropriate footwear and use caution around the hot tub area, as snow and ice may be present at all times.
